Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Plantation, I found the experience to be a thoughtful balance of luxury and practicality, ideal for travellers seeking an enriching getaway without extravagant cost. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the beach and local shops, providing easy access to both convenience and stunning sea views. The apartment itself was well-equipped, featuring essential amenities such as a washing machine, dryer, and an electric kettle, which greatly enhanced the comfort of my stay. I particularly appreciated the spacious sitting area and the soothing spa bath in the ensuite, making it feel like a haven away from bustling London. The hotel offers a delightful saltwater pool and well-maintained outdoor spaces that create a relaxing ambiance after a day of exploration. The efficiency of the staff, responsive to any room issues, contributed positively to my overall experience. In summary, the Plantation strikes a commendable balance between luxury and value, making it a prudent choice for architects and other professionals looking for both comfort and functionality during their travels.
